Preliminary information for incoming students (first semester- a.y. 2025-2026)

Our Department offers to incoming students some Introductory courses and free Italian language courses, that are pre-semester courses and start on 15 September 2025. For these courses, it is strongly recommended to fill in the following registration forms:

The description of all Ordinary courses and Legal language courses for incoming students that are taught in English or other European languages is available here - please pay attention to the fact that this webpage has been recently updated and, for example, International trade law course has just been cancelled and International transport and trade law added.

Furthermore, the timetable for the courses in foreign language of the first semester has just been published, and it provides an overview of all courses, week by week, including pre-semester courses, with the time and classroom for every lesson. It can be noted that a couple of courses are more intensive and condensed into a short period of time (International transport and trade law and International human rights).

Last but not the least, this year the Welcome Day for incoming students of the University of Ferrara (organised by the Orientation, Welcome and Incoming office) will take place at the premises of the Department of Law. Save the date: 23 September 2025!
